Wall Street is eagerly awaiting the semiconductor giant’s figures. For Nvidia shares to reach new highs, it will probably take more than just good data.
The next technical revolution is contained in a small rectangular box. 90 centimeters long, less than 50 centimeters wide and high. This inconspicuous box contains the “Nvidia DGX B200”, the powerhouse of data processing. A trained system can use this machine to process 144 quadrillion floating point operations per second, known in technical jargon as petaFLOPS. Nvidia compares the DGX B200 with the “Titan” supercomputer introduced ten years ago, which is the size of a tennis court and cost 100 million US dollars.
