“In June 2024, supermarkets had the lowest sales in recent years. It is the worst June in the entire series,” UNDAV stressed.

Changes in payment methods

In the last year, the number of people who payments via credit cardswhich went from accounting for 36.5% of all payment methods in 2023 to accounting for 43.7% in 2024. Also, purchases made using cash or debit cards decreased.
