The Argentine sailing team Paprika participates in the “Micro World Championship” organized at the Carcans Maubuisson circuit in France.
This is a competition with 61 boats registered and 172 participants from Argentina, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Poland and Francewith three different types of boats: Prototypes, Cruisers and Racers.

The Argentine team of the Palermo Sports nautical club, which has the support of Scope as a media partner, it is made up of Ramiro Martin Diaz (29), Javier Santos (48) and his daughter Lourdes Santos17 years old.

In the training regatta, the Argentines came 3rd in the Regatta category and 14th overall. But today they are tenth in the overall standings and tied for first place with the Poles in the regatta of their category.
“We couldn’t run today due to lack of wind (on Thursday), the competition was postponed, we are fine and eager to fight for higher positions,” said Andrés Santos from France.
To run, participants need to have a breeze. 8 to 10 knots on averagewhich was not achieved this Thursday.

The competition that ends this Friday, August 30, was organized by the Cercle Voile Bordeaux Carcans Maubuisson, which also organised the 2001 World Championship.
According to the organizers, the navigation area includes:

- Length: 18 km

- Distance to the sea: 4km
