Under the slogan “For a quality education in contexts of poverty”, the foundation held its annual celebration. Authorities, educational leaders, businessmen, personalities and collaborators participated.
The Annual Dinner of the Márquez Space was held Maria de Guadalupe Foundation which was led by Carolina Amoroso, with a show of Calliope and with music from Maria DJ Puli. It brought together project allies: authorities, educational leaders, businessmen, personalities and collaborators.
It was a night marked by celebration, given that, in June 2024, Colegio María de Guadalupe was selected this year among the best schools in the world in the World’s Best School Prizes, by T4 Educationand the Rosario Vera Peñaloza School was also inaugurated, marking a milestone in the replicability of the educational model.
Eduardo Bastittapresident of the Foundation, stressed that “María de Guadalupe seeks to be an innovative laboratory in education, and a beacon for other schools. We are an organization that promotes innovative teachers, innovative students, who are transformative actors in their communities.”
For its part, Luis Arochaexecutive director, emphasized the results that are being achieved: “A school where, despite many challenging situations given the context of the children, there is no dropout. A school where 100% of the 3rd grade children understand what they read, in an Argentina where only half are achieving this. A school where 87% of graduates study and/or work, with half of them accessing higher education..”

The sustainability model of the María de Guadalupe Foundation is based on the alliance between the State and civil society. In order to support the educational path of almost 1,000 students from contexts of social vulnerability in Las Tunas (Tigre) and Garín (Escobar), the organization has the commitment of the Province of Buenos Aires and the Municipalities, of the families of the neighborhood and of a large number of companies and donors. The organization promotes networks between schools, NGOs and governments, in order to share learning and experiences of the educational model and to promote powerful educational policies to achieve learning, school completion and the bridge to the educational and/or work continuity of young people.
