This date was created with the aim of raise awareness about the importance of personal and household cleanliness. This pandemic demonstrated that hand cleaning and frequent home disinfection is one of the most effective methods to combat germs.
For household cleaning, the use of bleach is recommended. It is estimated that commercial bleaches have a concentration of around 4%. For disinfection, a solution with a concentration of 0.5% needs to be generated and is achieved by diluting the bleach. This would be 2 tablespoons in 10 liters of water. This solution lasts a week before losing effectiveness.
