The vice president, Victoria Villarruelinsisted again this Thursday on his controversial initiative to “imprison all the Montoneros.” He did so by crossing paths with the former leader of the Peronist organization, Mario Firmenichafter his reappearance on social media after years of silence. “My intention to put them in jail is not only mine, but that of millions of Argentines.“, he said.
Firmenich released this Thursday a video on social networks where he invites a class which will be given today at 8pm “Peronist resistance and Montoneros”. After this message was known, Villarruel accused him of being a “murderer” and a “terrorist” and threatened to “put him in jail” on his X account.
“The terrorist Firmenich, from the impunity guaranteed to him by the Argentine State itself, tries to justify the terrorist actions of Montoneros responsible for murderskidnappings, injuries, bombs, attacks on military units, taking over towns and spreading terror and bloodshed in the country,” said the vice president.
After going out with the spike plugs, Villarruel once again insisted on his “agenda” against the revolutionary organizations that operated in the 1960s and 1970s. He called them “terrorists” and held them responsible for the country’s ills. “Terrorism must always be fought and its crimes are the origin of the misfortune, misery and decadence that the great Argentine Nation is suffering,” he wrote.
