Each September 6th It is celebrated in Argentina on National Public Relations Day. This is the practice of communication between companies and people, whether they are clients, journalists, politicians or the general public. More specifically, the Public Relations, known as PR refers to strategies designed to manage a company’s information through the use of media and communication platforms. This practice seeks to achieve optimal interaction between a brand and the people who interact with it.

Why is National Public Relations Day celebrated every September 6?
The origin of this celebration occurred in 1979, when the Argentine Association of Public Relations ProfessionalsOn September 6 of that year, the two leading public relations entities in our country merged. On the one hand, the Argentine Public Relations Association (AARP)founded in 1958 and on the other hand the Argentine Circle of Public Relations Professionalsfounded in 1961.
This new association was recognized by the Inter-American Confederation of Public Relations (CONFIARP), establishing the unity of Argentine professionals in the field of this communication practice.
