Anyone travelling by train must continue to expect significant delays. After a radio disruption, traffic is slowly starting up again.
The disruption to rail traffic in the Rhine-Main area has been resolved. This was announced by Deutsche Bahn (DB). “The affected long-distance and local connections are running again,” it continued. However, rail travelers should expect disruptions until the end of operations. A railway spokesperson recommended finding out about the connections before traveling.
In the afternoon, a technical fault caused significant disruption to rail traffic in central Germany. According to the railway, affected trains were waiting out the disruption. DB Regio said that all regional and S-Bahn traffic in the Rhine-Main area was affected.
