The used car sales is beginning to recover and the sector’s outlook for the end of the year is optimistic. In this context, seven cars and three trucks became the best-selling in the country last month.

He said that a “greater product offering, lower financing rates, price stability, exchange rate stability and a drop in inflation clearly indicate that an incipient recovery of activity is beginning to emerge.”
Lamas said that “The measures that the government is taking and encouraging for the sector, encourage us to be optimistic in the short and long term.”
The best-selling used cars
According to the CCA’s August sales ranking, and the prices they determined for used vehicles, leading models are as follows:
Volkswagen Gol and Trend: As for prices, a 2016 Gol with basic equipment can cost $8,800,000, while a 2019 Gol, with a new and complete design, costs 16 million pesos.
Toyota Hilux: Prices vary widely, from a 2015 with basic equipment at $19,400,000, to a 2019 with full equipment at an average of 40 million pesos.
Chevrolet Corsa and Classic: We found models from 2010 to 2011 that range from $4.5 million to 6.5 million pesos.
Ford Ranger: With a wide variety of prices depending on the version, a 2012 with medium equipment can cost $15.2 million, while a 2016 costs $18 million and a fully equipped 2019 costs 37 million pesos.
Volkswagen Amarok: A 2015 base pickup truck costs $12.4 million; a 2019 full-size pickup costs 33 million pesos.
Toyota Corolla: A 2016 model with intermediate equipment costs $12.2 million, and a full 2019 model costs 26 million pesos.
Renault Clio: There are 2010 models at $4.5 million, and 2017 at 9.4 million pesos.
Ford Fiesta: There are different prices, from a 2012 at $6.7 million, to a 2019 at 13.3 million pesos.
Ford Focus: A 2012 model costs an average of $7.4 million, while a 2019 model costs 17.6 million pesos.
Fiat Palio: Prices range from a 2010 model at $5.6 million, to a 2018 at 10.6 million pesos.
