The premiere Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice debuted in first place in Argentine cinemas, with 98,609 tickets sold from Thursday to Sunday, according to Ultracine.
The long-awaited sequel to the film Tim Burton dethroned Break the circlewhich came in second place after two weeks of leading the ranking (72,458 attendees).
Third place went to Deadpool & Wolverine (32,321), followed by Longlegs: Soul Collector, Alien: Romulus and Despicable Me 4which dropped one spot since last week to #4, #5 and #6, respectively.
The other two releases of the week that entered the top ten of the most viewed films were Pets in trouble (7,829 entries) and Kill: Massacre on the train (2,864).
A Giraffe on the Balcony, the Argentine film that was released in theaters last week, came in 15th place, with 1,370 viewers.
The total number of tickets sold in cinemas between Thursday 5 and Sunday 8 September was 295,798, 20 percent less than the previous week.
