The free race for the whole family is back ACTIVELY VOL.2

On September 15, the community of Morón is preparing for a special day with the return of “ACTIVAMENTE, DE PIES A CABEZA”, a participatory race organized by the Juan Bautista Alberdi School (Red Vaneduc) and the Universidad Abierta Interamericana (UAI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Welfare and the support of the Municipality of Morón.

This event, which is established as a meeting point to promote healthy lifestyle habits, is aimed at the whole family and is completely free. The race, which is not competitive in nature, seeks to ensure that everyone can enjoy a recreational day.

“We are excited to once again organize this event that promotes not only health, but also the unity of the entire Morón community. Our educational proposal always seeks to transcend the classroom, and this race is an extension of what we promote: essential values, awareness and a sense of community. For us, it is essential to create spaces that connect the members of our institution with society, in this case, to improve our quality of life.

We invite everyone to enjoy this new edition of ‘Activamente’, an ideal opportunity to share with the family.” Celina Castro, General Director of the JB Alberdi school.

Participants will be able to choose between three circuits:

  • 6K Participatory
  • 3K Participatory
  • 1K Kids Participatory

In addition to the race, various UAI faculties will be present with interactive stands and activities related to Information Technology, Communication Sciences, Hospitality and Tourism, Medicine and Health Sciences, and Human Movement and Sports. These proposals will enrich the experience of attendees, offering a comprehensive day that combines sport, health and knowledge.

The Vaneduc educational group, which includes the Universidad Abierta Interamericana and seven schools, including the Colegio Juan Bautista Alberdi, promotes coordination and interdisciplinary work between the university, its various faculties and the schools.

“ACTIVAMENTE reflects the collaborative work between Vaneduc, the UAI and Colegio Alberdi. This articulation allows, on the one hand, for students from Colegio Alberdi from different courses to participate in inter-level experiences, enriching their learning and promoting integration and collaboration at each educational stage.

On the other hand, the community, through its participation in sports competitions, adopts healthy habits that, year after year, contribute to a better quality of life. Likewise, through this proposal, we promote employability – the guiding principle of UAI – preparing university students with professional internships where students of careers in sports, health, pedagogy, technology and communication apply their knowledge for their professional development,” said Diana Campomaggi, Pedagogical Secretary.
