In the bidding war for Deutsche Bahn’s logistics subsidiary, DB Schenker, the Danish company DSV A/S now appears to be in the lead. As the Bloomberg news agency reports, citing people familiar with the situation, the Danish logistics group has the support of the Deutsche Bahn board and is now in advanced talks.
An agreement to take over DB Schenker could be signed this week, it was said. The supervisory board would then have to approve a transaction. DSV and the financial investor CVC are the last remaining interested parties, according to the sources. According to the latest information, both have offered around 14 billion euros.
