The new CEO of five companies belonging to the Natura Siberica group, including Natura Siberica LLC and Pervoye Reshenie LLC, is Felix Lieb, who until now worked as the executive director of AFK Sistema. The appointment was told to Izvestia in the press service of the cosmetic company on Thursday, January 13th.
They added that the first wife of the founder of the company, Andrei Trubnikov, Irina, took over as an advisor to the general director. She is also a member of the board of the Estonian company OU Good Design, which owns the brands Natura Siberica, Planeta Organica, Granny Agafya’s Recipes and others. Earlier, the company unilaterally terminated the contract with the cosmetics manufacturer “First Solution”.
As Lieb noted, among the immediate plans of the company’s management are the optimization of business processes in production and its expansion, the optimization of wholesale and retail sales, the development of R&D to bring new products to the market, and an update of the marketing strategy.
“Sustainability and ESG have long been part of Natura Siberica’s DNA. We will adhere to these principles in the future as well, ”he stressed.
The new top manager expressed confidence that together with the people who have given this company for many years, it will be possible to bring Natura Siberica to an “absolutely new level”.
Irana Trubnikova said that she was glad to join the company Liba, with whom they had the same views on the further development of the group.
“I associate special hopes with AFK Sistema’s interest in our company,” she said.
The press service noted that in early January 2022, the flagship production of Natura Siberica in Dmitrov was launched again. The equipment and the quality laboratory have been preserved there, the former technologists of the company continue to work at the plant. Also, the supply of raw materials to production has been resumed and logistics chains have been restored.
Irina Trubnikova’s representative told Izvestia in early September that Natura Siberica and Granny Agafya’s Recipes will be produced at two factories near Moscow – in Dmitrov and Tomilino.
At the end of November, Natura Siberica reported that Mikhail Sergeev, who had previously worked at the Crimean Federal University (KFU) and in the innovative agricultural valley “Agropolis”, became its new president.
Sergei Builov, who has been in charge of the company since August 2021, was appointed strategic development advisor.
Natura Siberica founder Andrei Trubnikov died in January last year. In the early 2000s, he founded the First Solution company and created the Grandmother Agafia’s Recipes brand. Then he launched the Natura Siberica brand, the first store with this name opened in 2012 in Moscow.
After Trubnikov’s death, a conflict broke out around Natura Siberica over inheritance: the entrepreneur’s widow Anastasia, her children and the businessman’s heirs from previous marriages fought for assets.
