Registration is now open for auditions for “Sandro,” the musical theater show that will premiere in 2025 at the Teatro Coliseo
Registration is now open to participate in the selection of the lead actor for the production of “Sandro,” the musical theater show about the legendary Argentine singer that will be performed at the Teatro Coliseo in April 2025.
The search is focused on artists with an excellent level of singing who can reflect and transmit Sandro’s soul on stage. The selected person will be part of a musical show that will evoke Sandro’s successful concerts at the height of his popularity, but with a production updated to 2025.
“We know the significance of Sandro for all Argentines and finding someone who can represent this legend of national music is an incredible challenge. We also know that there are very talented people throughout the country, so we thought of opening this possibility at a national level so that people from all provinces can sign up,” said José Luis Pagán, Musical Director of the play.
Candidates can register through a link on the @sandroelmusical Instagram account and will have until September 28. There they will find the necessary instructions to apply for a casting pre-selection. Those who pass this stage will then have access to participate in the in-person stage that will take place during the month of October on dates and places to be confirmed by the production.
“Sandro” has the official support of his family and his widow, Mrs. Olga Garaventa de Sánchez, as well as his team, Sandro Producciones (Pablo Ferraudi, Graciela Guiñazú, Eduardo Barone and Gabriel Maspero). It is an original idea by José Luis Pagán, Juan Crespo and Luciano Foppoli, with the script, theatrical direction and staging by Ana Sans and Julio Panno, musical direction by José Luis Pagán and general and executive production by Silvina Dell´Occhio, Juan Crespo and Luciano Foppoli.
