The Airline Pilots Association (APLA) announced that the plan of struggle will continue until the amount of salary adjustment is agreed upon and the sanctioned pilots return to their jobs.
Following the dismissal of three pilots and the attack by the Minister of Deregulation, Federico Sturzenegger, the Association of Airline Pilots (APLA) anticipated that “the union action measures will be increased in impact and diversifying in its methodology.”
In a statement posted on X (exTwitter), APLA called its members and non-members who work at Aerolíneas Argentinas to maintain the struggle and the claims. “The conflict ends when the amount of salary adjustment is agreed upon, and all sanctioned colleagues (warnings, suspensions, dismissals) are in their jobs and that these disciplinary measures be reversed,” they said.
Faced with such an adverse scenario, where the Government only increases the tension against the unions, APLA says it will not abandon its claims and encourages workers to fight a long and difficult battle, with an open ending.“Let’s continue the fight.
