The changes recently implemented by AFIP seek to streamline procedures in state administrations and increase tax compliance.

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) recently announced a series of changes to the procedures required by companies and taxpayers to comply with their tax obligations. In this way, they continue to simplify the procedures.

Within the new changes, they eliminated the process of Report of the warnings issued to workers or trade unions by telegrams or certified letters. Since the Bases Law adopted a series of measures aimed at improving and streamlining administrative processes, the AFIP repealed the regulation that governed this procedure.

Elimination of the processing of labor telegrams

The measure was formalized by the General Resolution 5560/2024published this Monday in the Official Gazette. With this decision, the computer service “Labor Telegrams” was eliminated, which allowed sending digital copies of labor communications to employers, as stipulated in the Article 1 of Law 24.013. Thus, the AFIP rendered the rule that regulated this procedure invalid.

The service will continue to be available onlineso users will be able to access historical data of recorded communications.

All documentary requirements eliminated by the AFIP

  • Elimination of the obligation to register rental contracts before the agency. It is only valid for accessing tax benefits.
  • Elimination of Real Estate Transfer Tax (ITI)
  • Elimination of Certificate of Transfer of Motor Vehicles (CETA), the document that had to be issued when selling a vehicle
  • Reduction from 5 to 2 of the sworn statements that rural establishments must submit with the result of the crop production.
  • Elimination of Import System of the Argentine Republic (SIRA) and the evaluation of the Financial Economic Capacity (CEF), as previous steps to purchase merchandise from abroad.
  • Elimination of Charcoal Exporters Registry (RECAR)
  • Simplification of the workers’ registry: Using the “My AFIP” application, a worker can be registered by entering only 7 pieces of data.
  • Elimination of the need to have the receipt called “Yerba Mate Roadmap“and the “Book of Movements and Stocks”, through which mills, dryers and/or warehouses will no longer have to mandatorily record the income, expenses and stocks of said products.
  • Automation of the calculation of the fixed amount corresponding to the Occupational Diseases Trust Fund (FFEP).
  • Repeal of the rule that required grain operators to register in the Single Registry of Operators of the Agroindustrial Chain (RUCA)
