The report was made by the Observatory of Tariffs and Subsidies of the Interdisciplinary Institute of Political Economy of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and CONICETwhere they detailed that households pay on average only 50% of the price of essential services, given that the rest is covered by subsidies, although in a fragmented manner according to income.


Monthly rates are divided as follows: electricity is around 1000 euros. $32,202; the gas in $28,342; the water in $24,762; and finally the transport -the most expensive- which involves an expense of about $56,228.
