Netflix revealed who will complete the cast of One Piece in the following seasons and gave a small glimpse of how they will animate a beloved crew member.
The animes and Japanese productions Inspired by manga and illustrated books from this country, they reached Western culture in the 90s, but they became established as a genre in the last decade. Thanks to the promotions, the high quality of their series and their captivating stories made them even reach the big screen.
While live action adaptations of anime made by Western productions are not usually well received by fans, One Piece and Netflix came together to achieve the impossible. Together with the original creator, Eiichiro Odathey carried out a challenging project that bore fruit from the first season.
They recently announced that the second season of the adaptation will be released, and revealed who will join the cast that gives life to the most feared villains that the Straw hat on the Great Maritime Route. As revealed by some of the protagonists on their networks, filming has already begun and it is expected to be released sometime in the 2025.

What is One Piece anime about?
The series, produced by Netflix and released in 2023, follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffya young boy with the power to stretch like rubber after eating a “devil fruit.” Luffy dreams of becoming the Pirate King and finding the greatest treasure in the world, the “One Piece“. Together with his crew of the “Straw hat“, Luffy embarks on a dangerous journey across the seas, facing rival pirates, the Navy, and other enemies as he seeks to accomplish his goal.

Netflix surprised fans recently by revealing on the official website in the “TUDUM” section the actors who will play the pirates Crocodile and Nico Robin, also known as Mister 0 and Miss All Sunday, the leaders of the Baroque Works organization.
In addition, and stealing the show, they also gave a glimpse of how the animation of one of the most beloved characters of the Straw Hat crew will be: the little reindeer Tony Tony Chopper, who plays the role of doctor on the ship.
