Human Capital reaffirmed dialogue with universities, but asked to avoid forceful measures

The ministry headed by Sandra Pettovello showed its commitment to national universities and assured that ”transfers are carried out in a timely manner.”

He Ministry of Human Capital issued a statement on Wednesday, where he assured that Dialogue with universities “was never interrupted”although he warned that ”forceful measures and mobilizations do not fuel this exchange.”

In the specific case of the UBA, on which the Hospital de Clínicas depends, transfers represent 94.8% of this additional request,” the text continues.

They ask to avoid forceful measures

They also made a comparison with previous administrations, ensuring that the ”transfers are executed in a timely manner”, since Previously, it took an average of almost 70 days to pay (68.4), while now it takes less than 5 days (4.6).

“The meetings with unions and principals, which take place regularly, are proof of the government’s commitment, which has led to a 76.1% increase in the salary guidelines,” they stressed.

Finally, they reaffirmed the dialogue with both rectors and university associations, but issued a warning: “We believe in this and point out that forceful measures and mobilizations do not fuel this exchange.”
