Roberto García Moritán confirmed his separation with Pampita

The Buenos Aires Minister of Economic Development, Roberto García Moritanmade a statement on his social networks where he confirmed his separation from the model and host Carolina “Pampita” Ardohain and assured that he will continue to serve in the Buenos Aires government.

“In recent days, many statements and comments have been made public about my personal life and my family that have not only generated confusion, but also affected those I love the most.”Moritán began in the statement.

“It’s been a while since Carolina -Ardohain- and I have separated. “It was a difficult and painful decision, like any separation, but we did it with the purpose of protecting the peace and well-being of all family members,” said the minister.

In this sense, in the face of the rumors that are currently circulating and in the midst of a scandal over common property, Moritán remarked: “The movements in the homes, the reasons and the procedures belong to our privacy and directly affect minors. For For this reason I ask you to distance yourself from these spaces and respect.”

In the letter, the official stressed that his priority “it will always be taking care of your children” that “they are affected by media exposure” and added that “It is time to end this chapter privately and publicly.” Along these lines, he stated that he will not provide any further statements on the matter and that the relationship with “Pampita” will be one of “respect and cordiality as parents.”

The scandalous separation had a central place in the media during the last week and this Thursday it was learned that Moritán had to move from his house in Barrio Parque, minutes after Benjamín Vicuña took one of his children with Pampita from the house so that I didn’t have to witness the moment of the move.

Roberto García Moritán assured that he will continue in his position, after rumors of the departure of the head of the Buenos Aires Government, Jorge Macri, from the Cabinet. “I will continue to put my focus and effort into my work as Minister of Economic Development of the city of Buenos Aires with the same transparency and dedication with which I have worked since 2023”says the statement.

In the same text, he refuted the complaint made by a lawyer for alleged irregular hiring of 384 employees in the portfolio he leads and other contracting of services with suppliers as well as events.

“Yesterday I was notified of a criminal complaint filed against me for alleged evasion and embezzlement of public funds,” Moritán began. And he emphasized: “I want to be clear: These accusations are totally unfounded and lack any basis in reality. “My management as Minister of the City has been, is, and always will be transparent and in full compliance with the law.”

According to García Moritán, he dedicated “his career to serving with responsibility and transparency and I have already made available all the necessary documentation to demonstrate the falsehood of these accusations.”

The day before, the complaint presented by Fernando Miguez, of the “Foundation for Peace and Climate Change” was decided in Federal Court 1 by Judge María Servini, judicial sources reported. The businessman and current Buenos Aires official was also denounced for alleged irregularities in foundations and the receipt of donations from different companies.

The complaint was filed for alleged “embezzlement of public funds” and “embezzlement.”
