Regarding the Honey brand, ANMAT ordered the prohibition of the brand “El Colmenar brand multifloral bee honey“, in any presentation, lot and expiration date. The article lacked a number National Food Product Registry (RNPA) and National Establishment Registry (RNE) existing and current.
Firstly, ANMAT prohibited “El Colmenar brand multifloral Bee Honey, Made by MOLLE SA, Ruta 158, calle s/n, Pozo del Molle, Córdoba, RNE 04526188, RNPA 0434557”. As detailed in Provision 8798/2024 of the Official Gazette of that date, the product did not have the “mandatory health records” in addition to being “falsely labeled”, because the RNE and RNPA displayed on its sign are non-existent.

In the same way, ANMAT prohibited the product “Sweet puffed corn, without TACC, Del Prado Pop brand, Artisan production, made by Del Prado Pop, RNE 02-035145, RNPA 02-705471.” In this case, the RNE displayed was corresponding to another company name, while the number RNPA was non-existent. In addition, the food was presented with the symbol “Without TACC” without having the corresponding authorization for such attribute.
Finally, the national administration restricted the products “Escabeche de Tararira, RNE 05000275, RNPA 050008042, Marca El Abuelo, Elaborado y Envasado por El Abuelo SA, Pago Largo 154, Chavarria, Corrientes”; “Escabeche de Capybara, RNE N° 05000265, RNPA N°050008835”, “Escabeche de Boga, RNE 05000267, RNPA 050008837”, “Escabeche de Dorado, RNE 05000267, RNPA 050008837” and “Escabeche de Nutria, RNE 0 5000265, RNPA 050008835 ” all belonging to the “El Abuelo” brand, made in currents. These foods lacked health records of the establishment and product.
ANMAT banned an insect repellent
In addition to food, the national entity also prohibited the “use, marketing, advertising, distribution throughout the national territory,” as well as “Publishing on online sales platforms” of the “Mos Out” brand insect repellent. The ban was made official in Provision 8800/2024 published in the Official Gazette.

The entity explained that the establishment that was in charge of producing the repellent is unknown.
As confirmed by the administration, the ban is effective in all “lots, presentations, expirations and net contents.”
The staff of the Cosmetic and Personal Hygiene Products Service consulted their database and determined that the product data “Mos Out brand mosquito repellent” does not correspond to an article registered in ANMAT. Due to this, those responsible for the entity detailed that “The establishment that was in charge of its preparation is unknown.“, and consequently, “it is not possible to provide guarantees about its effectiveness, safety, and/or formulation with ingredients permitted by current applicable regulations.”
