Who can process the return of AFIP perceptions

The people who can access are those who:

  • They are not recorded in the Income Tax, nor do they correspond to registration
  • They are recorded in Earnings, but not in Personal Assets.
  • They are not registered in the Personal Property Tax and are not required to register either.
  • They are registered in Personal Assets, but not in Profits.
  • They are in a dependency relationship and are not susceptible to Income Tax withholding by the employer.
  • They work in a dependency relationship, have suffered income tax withholdings, but under the 2019 code.

Step by step: how to process the return of AFIP perceptions

  1. Access the website afip.gob.ar with the CUIT and the tax code.
  2. Look for the “Return of perceptions” option. If it is not enabled, add it from “My services”.
  3. Click on “New” and enter the year and months you wish to claim in the format: year and month. Then, press the “Accept” button.
  4. Select “Perception to return” and click on “Submit”.
  5. Accept the text that the AFIP returns, where it is declared that the data is correct and true. Download the receipt.
