Residents of Bragado will mobilize this Saturday to demand the progress of the works on Highway 5, demanding road safety due to the constant risk generated by intense traffic, especially trucks.
The demonstration will take place at 5 p.m. at the city entrance, with the motto “5 at 5 on 5”, and will be without political flags or party purposes. The objective is for the national government to resume the pending highway project.
“All of us who circulate in any direction and on any section have had risk situations due to anxious vehicles, very slow vehicles, others very fast, accumulation of trucks, vehicles without lights, an infinite flow of vehicles that circulate facing each other at high speed” , the neighbors stated.
And they added: “Every day we regret cases of fatal accidents along the entire route, families that are destroyed, people with irreversible consequences and the insecurity of not knowing if we are going to return home safely. This avoidable mortal risk. We know that there are to do a great job on safe driving but today we ask for a solution that has been postponed for decades.
