What are the different powers that I can process before the IPS in the Province of Buenos Aires

Power to process

This procedure must be initiated by the retired or pensioned person who intends to grant this right to a representative, who may be:

  • Lawyers and attorneys registered in the Province of Buenos Aires.
  • Managers registered in the Province.
  • Spouses or relatives up to a fourth degree of consanguinity.
  • Representatives designated by the associations of retirees and pensioners, authorized by the IPS
  • Municipal pension delegates.

The validity only expires due to express resignation of the agent, revocation of the agent or death of one of the two.

Power to perceive

This type of procedure must also be initiated by the retired or pensioned person with the intention of granting the power, and unlike the previous one, it has an expiration of 6 months. It must have the signatures of the beneficiary and the representative, which may be certified by employees of the Powers sector of the IPS, Justice of the Peace, Secretary of Court, Notary Public or Pension Delegate.

Legal or judicial representative

A legal representative is considered to be any family member of the beneficiary who has a child under 18 years of age, while a judicial representative is anyone who has been appointed by a judge in the position of Guardian, Curator, Guardian or Person in Charge of a Support System.

Registration of professionals
