VA Intertrading announced this in a broadcast on Monday. Jörg gained experience at companies in Europe, America, Asia and Australia and was most recently responsible for the Saudi Arabian group Salic in a management position. The 58-year-old is considered one of the world’s leading experts in global agricultural trade.
“I am very much looking forward to further developing Austria’s largest trading company in my new role,” Jörg is quoted as saying in a press release. In a time of economic upheaval and change, VA Intertrading has to prove itself on the international marketplaces. Jörg is married, has three adult children and speaks four languages.
