Starting in September, there is a trend of fewer spectators going to the theater, which is why 10 years ago AADET encouraged going out with the “Come to the theater” campaign.
The campaign is back “I came to the theater”, with discounts of 60 to 90% of the value of tickets to the main shows on the Buenos Aires billboard. In a context of abrupt drop in theater attendance given the difficult economic situation plus the seasonal factor in September that historically generates a decrease in spectators, “Crazy Discounts” are back.

It is worth remembering that starting in September the theater audience, mostly upper middle class and what remains of the middle class, allocates the little leftover money no longer to theatrical entertainment but to planning getaways or summer vacations, which is why the theatrical borderaux decreases significantly in relation to previous months of the year and that is why this incentive campaign was launched years ago.


Incidentally, the latest report from AADET, the Argentine Association of Theatrical and Musical Entrepreneurs, indicates that in September attendance at theaters fell 14% compared to last year, while August registered the same decrease. The accumulated between January and September there is a decrease of 13%, while the average number of spectators per performance registers a decrease of 18%.
That is why this theater incentive campaign has been going on for ten years now to try to counterbalance the seasonal decline starting in the spring months. Every Tuesday in October at TICKETS BSAS (Diagonal Norte and Cerrito), from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in front of the obelisk, there are more than 80 titles on the billboard, of all genres.
The initiative is organized by AADET, together with associated producers and venues, who come together to once again announce this campaign whose objective is to encourage everyone to be spectators and live the unparalleled experience of sharing a live show. There are more than 20 thousand tickets at affordable prices. Up to 4 vouchers per person can be withdrawn with a maximum of 2 per show, presenting ID.
