“It is not necessary to go to Congress for an agreement with the fund”, stated Bullrich in an interview with the program La Tarde de la Red (Radio La Red).

Regarding the Government, he assured that “it generates very little confidence, it has no plan”. “In Peronism they kill each other, they have opposing interests”, he added.

For his part, he described his party and its objectives: “One of the great objectives we have is to remain as a alternative“. “In Together we have an alliance with some debates, but nobody left”, he continued.

“We had (economic) problems but that was not because of the coalition”, justified the actions during the government of Mauricio Macri.

Finally, he expressed his position regarding a possible presidential candidacy: “I don’t want to advance anything, but I did assure you that I’m not going to stop for a second to put together the necessary equipment that Argentina needs”.

The meeting on standby

“Everyone is talking to everyone (between spaces and within spaces)”, assured this Saturday from Casa Rosada. But, from the beginning, the dialogue between the Casa Rosada and Together was stuck. The main opposition coalition had resolved at its national table that neither Horacio Rodríguez Larreta (Autonomous City of Buenos Aires), nor the radicals Gerardo Morales (Jujuy), Rodolfo Suárez (Mendoza) nor Gustavo Valdes (Corrientes) attended the meeting that Alberto Fernández and Guzmán maintained in person with 11 governors of the ruling party at Casa Rosada. Then the radical leaders unmarked from Larreta and they sent officials from their administrations to the meeting.

The Governor of Jujuy had shown himself to be the rational and center wing in Together by claiming that Guzmán had to be “listened to”, taking into account that the debt with the IMF had been contracted by the Cambiemos administration. From this, the Government together with the parliamentary heads and governors of Together for Change began to bring positions closer to finalize the postponed meeting.

In any case, the meeting is on standby and no new date confirmed. For his part, Guzmán will be in San Juan this Tuesday with Alberto and Matias Kulfas in the launch of the public-private association for the generation of clean energy in six provinces.
