Mudhoney, pioneers of grunge
Mudhoney is a pioneering band of the grunge movement formed in 1988 in the city of Seattle after the dissolution of Green River, a group in which they were. Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament (later in Pearl Jam) and Steve Turner and Mark Armwho would later form Mudhoney with drummer Dan Peters and the bassist Matt Lukin.
With their sound, a mix of energetic punk and garage with touches of psychedelia, they became the spearhead of grunge, a movement that was later consolidated by elevating groups such as Nirvana either Pearl Jam.
Anyone who has seen Mudhoney on stage knows what to expect from this show: one of the best live bands of the last four decades, a mix of punk explosion and garage rock in an intense and exciting show. This will be the band’s fourth visit to our country.
