The retained percentage will be paid as an annual bonus, as long as the beneficiaries certify school or academic attendance, as appropriate.
Requirements to collect the Progresar Scholarships
There are different lines of Progresar Scholarships, each with its own requirements:
- Progress Mandatory: For primary and secondary school students who need financial assistance to continue their studies.
- Progress Higher: Aimed at tertiary and university level students, including those studying Nursing.
- Progress Work: For young people between 18 and 24 years old who are not studying and are looking to improve their work skills. Also available for people up to 35 years old who are responsible for a single-parent home, and up to 40 years old if they do not have formal employment.
