Roberto Gerbasi headed the winning list, which has been in office for 25 years, and was re-elected in the institution.
Gerbasi stressed the importance of continuing to promote the Círculo school, the Olimpia awards and the Book Fair, key activities that are part of the institution’s heritage.
In the elections held in the Circle of Sports Journalists of Buenos Aires, the blue list, headed by Roberto Gerbasiwas the winner with 176 votes compared to the 92 obtained by the “Renewal” list. As in the last 25 years, the ruling party prevailed again in these elections.
The elections were carried out normally, although there were some problems with apocryphal cards. However, the process was inspected by the General Inspection of Justice (IGJ) and the Supervisory Board, ensuring the transparency of the entire electoral act.
Roberto Gerbasithe newly re-elected president, expressed his happiness for the victory, thanking the members for their participation and highlighting the importance of having exercised the right to vote. He also renewed his commitment to follow management marked by honesty and transparency, ensuring that the members of the circle have clarity about the management of the institution’s assets.
