Ringo Starr announced details of a new country music album titled “Look Up”. In addition, the historic drummer of the beatles presented the first preview: “Time On My Hands”. The album will be released on January 10.
Comprised of 11 songs, Starr wrote the album alongside T Bone Burnett, Billy Swan and Bruce Sugarand marks her first full-length country-style album in over 50 years and her first LP since 2019.

He also perfected himself in this genre during his previous work with Rory Storm And The Hurricanesbefore sharing the country album “Beaucoups Of Blues” in 1970 and his second solo LP.
To celebrate the announcement of “Look Up,” Starr has shared the somber lead single titled “Time On My Hands.” Written with Paul Kennerlythe co-producer Daniel Tashian and Burnett, the song is about grief and resilience after the end of a relationship.

Starr’s love of country music led him to move from London to Texas while he was still a teenager, and the collaboration with Burnett comes after a chance meeting in 2022, some five decades after they met. They decided to join forces when Starr asked the record producer and guitarist to write a song for the EP he was recording. Burnett responded with nine songs for Starr to choose from, and all of them ended up on “Look Up.”
