Kulfas said that the San Juan energy cluster will generate more than 2,500 direct jobs

Among other things, the Minister pointed out that “This is an important step to walk towards a green productive development that integrates environmental challenges with a focus on Argentine work and federal development.”

This initiative, which launches in our country the national manufacture of equipment intended to provide renewable energy, It will have an investment close to US$1,000 million.

Six provinces, 7 public and private companies and institutions make up this productive cluster, which will surely expand in the future. I would like to explain why we consider this announcement to be very relevant.

Kulfas recalled that “in the previous government we lived through an experience that was cut short and had many limitations in terms of renewable energy: the Renovar plan. A plan that depended on external financing and the incorporation of imported equipment. Today the objective is to advance in environmental sustainability , and for this, macroeconomic sustainability and social sustainability are needed”.

“Because, the minister continued, we have launched the Green Productive Development Plan, to stimulate the production in the country of new industries that allow us to fight against the problems of climate change, this cluster is a turning point, which is added to others such as the development of green hydrogen and the electromobility bill, which will allow us to join the production of vehicles that do not generate carbon emissions”.

Finally, he stated that “Between the extremes of anything goes that destroys the environment and prohibitionism that limits Argentine work and development, we propose concrete actions for green productive development, growth and Argentine work”
