Sales financed in September grew 43% compared to 2023

The financed sales of cars through garments reached 27,615 units in September, which represents a positive variation of just 1.2% compared to August and 43.5% more than in September 2023.

In the first nine months of the year, the number of registered garments amounts to 265,616, which results in an increase of 3.2% compared to the same period last year, according to data compiled by the association that brings together dealerships (ACARA ).

In comparison with August, the clothes over 0km They performed significantly better than those issued for used ones. While the former grew 1.2%, those intended to finance transfers contracted 14.6%.

In the 0km financing market, during September almost the same number of items were registered as in August, just 1.2% more. This performance was not enough to accompany the 5% growth recorded by the patentingwith which the participation of vehicles with some type of collateral financing contracted 1.5 percentage points in total operations.

In fact, in September garments over 0km represented 37.8% of the total number of patents, a figure very similar to that accumulated for the year (38%). This is an improvement over 2023, already in the same period last year, financed sales represented 33% of total patents.

In the case of the financing on used cars, the situation is similar. In the accumulated of the year, financing of operations is higher than in the same period last year.

In fact, in the first nine months of 2023, 5.8% of transfers were financed and in 2024 the participation of garments in the total is 6.7%, almost 1 percentage point more.

This occurs because overused garments have grown 15.5% so far this year and transfers are practically the same amount (there are 317 more units in 1.25 million).
