As for the large special bonus that toll and related workers will receive, it reaches the figure of $800,000. The same will be paid in reference to the Camino Day to those employees who have perfect attendance.

Through an official statement, SUTPA explained: “This agreement recognizes the daily effort, providing relief in the midst of a complicated economic context.”

“It should be noted that The negotiations with these three companies took place within a framework of open and sincere dialoguewhere it was also possible to add training for all workers, betting on professional growth within each sector, in the face of the labor reconversion process that we have been facing for several years,” they stated.

Which company was left out of the agreement

Despite the deal with three companies, the union detailed the situation with the company Corredores Viales with which the joint ventures did not advance and that the union even had to intervene. Undersecretary of Development and Modernization of Public Employment. “The joint agreement is totally different with the Corredores Viales company. From our union, we are convinced that for a company to function efficiently it is essential that those who manage it have a deep knowledge of the activity“, they detailed in the official statement of the union.

“We continue to insist that the activity should not depend on the Undersecretary of Development and Modernization of Public Employment, an organization whose officials do not understand our reality. This generates great disadvantages when negotiating joint ventures, since they should be uniform for all companies in the sector, both public and private.”

In this sense, the union warned that this was the “first time in 18 years, since the creation of the SUTPA” that the negotiation took place in a differentiated way between “the five companies”. Furthermore, they stated that Corredores Viales “imposes a parity rate like that of State employees, when our activity is supported by the rate“.

Finally, the company highlighted that in the month of December there will be new meetings with the three companies with which a total agreement was reached, to lay the foundations for salary updates in 2025.
