According to complaints, for months OCA has not paid the people and firms it has contracted to distribute packages and letters in several provinces. The company did not provide any explanation.

El Diario de La Pampa reported weeks ago that since OCA outsourced some of the services it paid on the 15th of the month, but for three months there have been delays. “When we ask when they are going to pay us, they have no answer to give us,” one of the contracted firms complained. Several years ago, the postal services company decided to outsource the distribution of parcels and correspondence in all provinces.
It is also worth remembering that OCA was already at the center of controversy for an alleged lack of payment to the Independiente club, when it was one of its main sponsors.
In the midst of this situation of delays in payments, it emerged that OCA would be one of those interested in staying with Correo Argentino, within the framework of the privatization plan of the Javier Milei government.
On the other hand, the company obtained an endorsement from Justice to stop the process due to contribution debt. A court accepted a proposal by the official defense with the agreement of the trial prosecutor’s office and decided this month to dismiss the company as a legal entity for lacking any person responsible who could represent it, defend itself against the accusation and, if necessary, comply with an eventual conviction.
OCA is coming off years of poor results in its numbers, which included bankruptcy in 2019, and a series of ownership transfers.
