One of the strategies that is part of our business philosophy and that we believe can be, in the future, one of the keys to reducing the carbon footprint of the industry in general, is EcoDesign. In our production plant we develop PVC architectural products, for decoration and covering, which contain a percentage of the PVC scrap that we obtain in our recycling plant. A virtuous circle in which the remnants of the profiles that we manufacture for carpentry are reprocessed and reused to create new products, based on PVC, which thanks to its technical qualities can be recycled several times, without losing any of its qualities. in the process.
Thanks to the incorporation of the recycling plant, we have been able to open a new business unit that allows us to expand horizons, reach other markets within the construction industry, and develop new strategies and sales channels. At the same time, we respond to the needs of professionals and users, and above all we manage to exponentially reduce the generation of waste.
Sustainability as a responsibility and business policy can be a statement on paper, but it can also be a large-scale solution to different problems that affect the productive activity of a country or a region. An investment made on time and with an eye to the future is a risky but satisfactory business strategy for a company’s balance sheets, aiming for a more sustainable world, without losing sight of the sustainability, efficiency and profitable margins of the business.
