Leonidas ColapintoFranco’s grandfather, died at 89 years in the Buenos Aires city of Bahía Blanca a few hours before the Formula 1 driver competes in the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Colapinto’s grandfather was a important celebrity Bahía Blancasince he was a recognized writer, researcher and lawyer specialized in Family Law and Human Rights. According to La Nueva Provincia, he was known as “Bocha”was born in Bahía Blanca in 1935 and until 2000 he dedicated himself to the practice of his profession as a lawyer specializing in Family Law and Human Rights.

Leonidas Colapinto was co-founder of the Institute of Procedural Law and the Institute of Family Lawboth belonging to the Bahía Blanca Bar Association, where he later served as Director of Culture. Likewise, he was the author of a dozen books, historical-sociological essays aimed at denouncing the persecution of some humans against others based on sex, religion, nationality and race.

Formula 1: when Franco Colapinto races in Brazil

Colapinto will have a busy weekend at the Brazilian Grand Prix. After finishing twelfth in Mexico, he will have a busy Friday, in which he will participate in the free practice at 11:30 and then the Sprint race classification at 15:30.

In this way, he will run his second Sprint, after having made his debut in this format in the United States, where he finished twelfth. These races are 100 kilometers long, a third of the normal race, and the drivers are not required to stop in the pits.

The Sprint race will be the Saturday at 11while the classification for the main race will start at 3pm.

In this last session, Colapinto will seek to improve what was done both in the United States and in Mexico, where failed to make the cut in Q1 and had to start on both occasions in the last positions on the grid.

Finally, the action for Colapinto in Brazil will culminate on Sunday, when run the main race at 2pm.
