The pension organization explained the meaning of updating personal data and how it affects.
In recent days, various media outlets have disseminated information about the alleged obligation to update personal data to maintain pension benefits. Faced with this, the National Administration of Social Security (ANSES) issued a crucial clarification: No retiree will lose their benefit for not updating their contact information. However, the pension agency insists on the importance of validating this information to guarantee a direct communication channel with each beneficiary.
Keeping data updated, according to ANSES, is a good practice that makes it easier to receive important notifications, such as changes in benefits or reminders of key dates. However, the organization assures that the omission of this update will not affect the right of retirees to receive their monthly benefits.

ANSES suggests to retirees and pensioners Validate contact information, such as email and phone number, annually or whenever there is a change. This can be done easily on the platform My ANSES, either through the mobile application or through the official website. To do so, it is necessary to access the CUIL and the Social Security Key, and enter the section “Personal information” within the option “Address and contact information.

During the month of November 2024, the retirement and pension amounts follow the settings established by the Mobility Law, allowing a periodic increase according to inflation and the wage index. The update of the amount is automatic and does not require additional procedures on the part of the holders.
