He Government of the City of Buenos Aires announced important modifications to the driver’s license renewal process that will facilitate online management. These modifications were implemented by the General Directorate of Driver Qualification with the aim of offering a more direct and agile experience for citizens. The new system seeks to eliminate unnecessary steps, allowing users to complete the procedure more quickly and effectively.
Previously, the process required verification that included six steps, including authentication on two systems and waiting for an email. Now, with the simplification of the process, applicants only have to validate your identity through the miBA platform to access the mandatory informative talk, eliminating the need for additional validations by mail. Additionally, at the end of the talk, a digital certificate valid for one year will be granted.

How to process a driver’s license in CABA
To apply for a driver’s license for the first time in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, it is necessary to go to one of the 13 authorized centers, where practical and psychophysical exams will be carried out. These centers are available from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and have professionals to evaluate the necessary tests. It is important to comply with all the requirements indicated on the official website of the Buenos Aires government before selecting the venue and reserving the day and time.
