Next Tuesday, INDEC will release October inflation datawhich will be around “3 points.” This was stated by one of the most important economists, to whom Javier Milei always pays special attention when it comes to forecasts and analysis. The statements are in line with what several private consulting firms predict for the Consumer Price Index (CPI) that will be released this week.

The economist in question is Juan Carlos de Pablo, who analyzed the economic direction of Milei’s management and left several definitions for what comes at the end of the year, a crucial moment for the Government, which reaches its first year of administration and raises the flag of lower inflation as one of its strongest points.

Inflation: one of the economists most listened to by Javier Milei said how much it will be in October

In statements to Radio Rivadavia this Sunday, de Pablo estimated that October inflation will be below that of September, which rose to 3.5% and has been maintaining the decline.

“The numbers are going to show that inflation is going to give a number around 3 points in October“said the economist, one of those most listened to by President Javier Milei.

In that sense, Pablo made it clear that there may be a jump in the price index given the particularity of the Argentine economy and lowered the tone of drama. “From an economic point of view, if in November it says 4 points, it is nothing to cut your wrists. “We have to get used to it, it is a very fluid country.” declared the economist.

On the other hand, the economist analyzed other aspects of Milei management. For example, the reduction of country risk, an achievement that the Government celebrated as part of its actions to get the economy back on track. “It seems that the Government’s reading is that the fall in country risk will favor debt“said Juan Carlos de Pablo.

Finally, de Pablo also spoke about the point that most characterizes the Government and highlighted that fiscal adjustment is one of the pillars of the libertarian administration. “What 2024 has shown is the strength of fiscal policy,” de Pablo concluded.
