The president and CEO of YPF received a distinction as a graduate of the “Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering” program at the University of Texas.
The president and CEO of YPF, Horacio Marinreceived the recognition of “distinguished student” of 2024 in Austin as a graduate of the “Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering” program, of the University of Texas.
The award for “Distinguished Student” awarded by the United States House of Higher Studies, it recognizes alumni who have achieved significant goals in their careers and have provided service to the university.
Through his social networks, Marín thanked him for the distinction: “This recognition is a testament to the work and dedication I put into my professional career”he wrote, and added: “I want to thank my family, colleagues, mentors and friends who have been accompanying me throughout these years.”

Likewise, during his thanks, the CEO of YPF highlighted the figure of the president Javier Milei and thanked him for having chosen him for the position “valuing his career and meritocracy over politics.”
Horacio Marín is a chemical engineer graduated from the University of La Plata, he obtained his Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Texas in 1994, in Austin, and in 2009 he participated in the Executive Program of Stanford University at the School of Business.
