The award for “Distinguished Student” awarded by the United States House of Higher Studies, it recognizes alumni who have achieved significant goals in their careers and have provided service to the university.

Horacio Marín is a chemical engineer graduated from the University of La Plata, he obtained his Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Texas in 1994, in Austin, and in 2009 he participated in the Executive Program of Stanford University at the School of Business.
