In November 2024, the Comprehensive Medical Care Program (PAMI) continues to provide important benefits to its members, including the ability to access free canes. This benefit is designed especially for those people who need support to improve their mobility and, therefore, their quality of life. Canes are available only for members who meet certain medical and administrative requirementsand can be requested both in person and online.

This procedure can be carried out by the member themselves, a family member, representative or, if authorized in the system, the treating doctor, so it is essential that those people who want to access this benefit know what types of canes are available, the necessary documentation and the step by step to be able to make the request.
