So, bitcoin fell in price to $35.16 thousand. At the same time, according to the data of the CoinMarketCap portal, the cryptocurrency fell by 9% at 14:26 Moscow time to $34.9 thousand.
The day before, the price of bitcoin during the trading session fell to $37.95 thousand for the first time since August 2021. At 15:45 Moscow time, the bitcoin rate fell by more than 10%.
The head of the investment department of ICB Fund, Aaron Chomsky, said on January 10 that the situation for bitcoin buyers is bad: quotes are aimed at the level of $30,000. According to him, searching for news reasons in the cryptocurrency market is a waste of time.
On December 20, Chomsky told Izvestia that investing in cryptocurrencies is now much safer than two or three years ago, as the market has matured: large players from traditional finance have come to it, new investment instruments have appeared, and a clear infrastructure has been created.
