He PRO deputy Alejandro Finocchiaro suffered this Wednesday a pre-infarction and is admitted to the Fernandez Hospitallocated in the Palermo neighborhood of the city of Buenos Aires.
The legislator he decompensated in the morning at Café Tabac, also located in Palermo, and had to be assisted by SAME personnel. According to reports, currently “He is stable” and “continues under observation”.
Finocchiaro himself commented on the episode on his X account: ”Today at 11:10, finishing a meeting to go to the session where we were going to vote #FichaLimpia, I suffered vasovagal syncope for which I was admitted to the Fernández Hospital, and later transferred to the Los Arcos Clinic, where I am under observation.”
Absences in the PRO to provide a quorum
The leader of the PRO was one of the three absent of that space in the frustrated session to discuss the draft Clean Sheetwhose ruling was reached in September of this year and sought prevent those who have a criminal conviction with a second-instance ruling for certain crimes from being candidates for elective public positions such as influence peddling, embezzlement of public funds, illicit enrichment, concealment and fraud to the detriment of the public administration.
The temporary disqualification would be maintained until the conviction is revoked or the sentence is served. The initiative is supported by La Libertad Avanza, the PRO, Federal Meeting, Civic Coalition and the UCR.
In effect, the session, which had been promoted by the PRO and La Libertad Avanza (LLA), was left with one representative out of the quorum of 129 seats.
The intention of the ruling party and the dialogue blocks is to reconvene the session for next week, according to the representatives of PRO Silvia Lospennato and LLA Nicolás Mayoraz.
