Victoria Parra and Natalia Tagliacozzo are behind La Petite Maison, the company that makes children’s houses for the rich and famous.
The venture was born more than six years ago and they have already delivered more than 100 units. They are luxury houses for children built with top quality materials and can include everything from wallpaper and royal taps, to furniture, to gold-rimmed mugs. Behind this phenomenon are the entrepreneurs Victoria Parra and Natalia Tagliacozzo with their brand La Petite Maison and who are now expanding with other business units with which they dream of having “The Argentine Barbie.”

“We target an ABC1 audience because they are luxury houses that last a lifetime, are made with luxury materials and under the dry construction system. They have everything from real openings to taps and of course all the decoration that is at the client’s request. In 90% of cases, our clients are women, the vast majority of them businesswomen, with high purchasing power, who want to give their children a unique gift.s. Also for those who do not have a park, we create very exclusive settings for children’s rooms.“, details Natalia Tagliacozzo, owner of the company, along with her partner Victoria Parra.

According to the entrepreneurs, At first they made the houses out of wood, but soon they realized that it was not the most suitable material because in heavy rain it could leak water that would ruin the decoration. From that point on, they redoubled their bet and opted for the dry construction system, which is the same one used to build houses in private neighborhoods.
Although there is no fixed price for each of these houses because it depends on the number of meters and the interior decoration chosen, in general terms, according to their owners, they require an investment of thousands of dollars and there is a fundamental question: “We do not exchange with celebrities. They have asked us countless times and we only made progress twice in our beginnings to make ourselves known, but then we understand that we have a lot of people behind us and we cannot change work for advertising on networks. Today everyone who orders a house from La Petite Maison pays for it,” says Tagliacozzo.

On the other hand, a no small issue is that from the design of the product to the final installation there is a planning and production period of around 60 days. “In actual production of the little house it takes two to three days, but first we are in contact with the client for the entire creative part with our setting team.. We have had the most varied requests, perhaps the craziest was a lady from San Martín de los Andes who asked us for a special little house for her mini horse, she wanted to be able to have tea with her friends and have the little horse come in. It was quite a challenge, but it ended up being a very nice experience that taught us that we are here to fulfill customer orders no matter how crazy they may be,” Tagliacozzo recalls.
Currently, La Petite Maison, in addition to children’s houses and room decorations, also sells decoration products for children ranging from rugs, curtains and beds to pillows and wallpaper, among many others. But that’s not all because for some time now they put all their chips into a special product: the Madelon doll. “We understand that the houses are for a very limited audience, with high purchasing power, and that is why we want to be in every home with our own doll made in the country, something like a 100% Argentinian Barbie.to. For this, we not only developed the concept and the doll, but we are also licensing the brand and the image so that it can reach many other items such as pencil cases, bags, backpacks, lunch boxes, etc.,” explains Natalia Tagliacozzo.
This doll follows the romantic vibe of the firm and according to its owners the project not only contemplates Argentina but all of Latin America: “We have the idea of expanding beyond our borders and we are confident that we are going to achieve it because it is a quality product and with an image that children love,” explains the owner of the company in closing.
