Yamandú Orsi will be the next president of Uruguay
This Sunday, the candidate of the Wide Front (FA), Yamandu Orsi, became the next president of Uruguay after defeating the runoff 2024 to his adversary National Party (PN), Alvaro Delgado, who came out to recognize his defeat in the face of militancy.
Delgado, surrounded by the other leaders of the Coalition, recognized Orsi’s victory in tonight’s runoff. He assured that “without a guilt complex, but with sadness, we can congratulate whoever won and do so sincerely and from the heart, with detachment and with a very republican sense.”
