This Wednesday, Patria Bullrich and Federico Sturzenegger will present the modifications that they will introduce to the Maritime, River and Lake Navigation Regime.

The Government advances with its chainsaw plan: this Wednesday the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrichand the Minister of Deregulation and Transformation of the State, Federico Sturzenegger, will announce a series of modifications in the Maritime, Fluvial and Lake Navigation Regime (Reginave).

The changes introduced to Reginave was approved as one of the sections of the Bases law and its main objective is to simplify procedures, eliminate regulations considered unnecessary and reduce demands that affect the operation of the sector.

The announcement will be made aboard the coast guard cutter GC-24 Mantilla, in Puerto Madero, starting at 11 in the morning. The Secretary of National Security will also participate in the event, Alejandra Monteolivaand the National Naval Subprefect, general prefect Alejandro Annichini.

According to them, the reforms seek to adapt the navigation rules to the current situation and aims to strengthen the safety of ships and crews and to encourage development of national and international trade.

In this way, progress is being made in one of the deregulations recently announced by the Government. “Navigation is governed by a regulation called the Reginave, which has 500 pages. They ask the same thing of a large ship that sails through the sea as they do of a Delta barge that is going to transport fruit. That is going to end“, the official had declared a month ago during the 29th International Economic Symposium of the Association of Friends of Tel Aviv University.

The Government facilitated procedures for small planes to become “local airlines”

Earlier, through his social networks, Sturzenegger invited all owners of small aircraft to become “local airlines” to connect different cities in the country, as part of the “open skies” promoted by the Government.

“To those who have small planes in the different cities of the country We invite you to become local airlines connecting these cities with the country’s main airports,” said the minister on his account on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

In addition, he said that “in recent weeks Hummings announced that it will connect Olavarría, Tandil, Venado Tuerto and Villa Maria with Aeropark. American Jet announced that it incorporates nine medium aircraft to expand its internal flight network”.
