The dollar accelerated growth to 1.03%, to 78.22 rubles at 12:10 Moscow time. At 12:06 Moscow time, the exchange rate of the American currency was 78.01 rubles. The last time the rate rose to such a value was on April 7, 2021.
On January 14, during trading on the Moscow Exchange, the euro exchange rate exceeded 88 rubles for the first time since July 2021.
