Starting this Friday, December 6, The Subway will extend the service of Line Bsomething that will be repeated during the next Fridays of the last month of the year. This measure aims improve public transportation in the City in a corridor that has a large number of theaters and cultural spaces.
The president of Subterráneos de Buenos Aires, Javier Ibañezstated: ”We know that it is something that our users ask of us and that is why we made the decision to test this initiative, to see how it works. The proposal is to reduce dependence on private transportation and, at the same time, enhance culture in the City of Buenos Aires, promoting more efficient and sustainable transportation in areas with a high concentration of people.”
What will the special schedules of the City Subway be like?
With the extension, the Line B -which connects the center of Buenos Aires with the Villa Urquiza neighborhood- will close its doors at 2responding to the demand coming from the different spaces that are located on Corrientes Avenue and that offer theatrical and musical shows until dawn.
The schedule indicates that The last formations will leave at 1 from Juan Manuel de Rosas and at 1.30 from Leandro N.
