Such is the case of environmentwhich suffers the consequences of its exploitation for the benefit of those who move the market. In that sense, the green economy It works as a solution to make a transition, with the aim of avoiding the growth of climate change and the extinction of species.
According to the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP)the green economy is “one that results in improved human well-being and social equity, significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological shortages.” Along the same lines, an economy is considered green when it is low carbon, resource efficient and socially inclusive.

The concept of green economy began to be used in the 1990s. 1980when the book was released Plan for a green economy (in English in its original title: Blueprint for a Green Economy).
